Northwind Wiki

Welcome to the internal wiki of Northwind Consulting. This is where we write down how we work: the practical, day-to-day guidance that sits alongside the formal policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). When a wiki page and a policy disagree, the policy wins, and you should tell the page owner so the page can be fixed.

How policy references work

Formal documents have IDs such as POL-HR-001 (leave), POL-FIN-002 (travel and expense), POL-IT-003 (passwords and access) and SOP-001 (incident response). Wiki pages mention these IDs in plain text so you can search for the full document in the Document Library. Policy documents are versioned; always use the highest version number.

Editing this wiki

Every page ends with an owner and a last-updated date. If you spot something out of date, message the owner or raise it in the #wiki channel. Page owners review their pages at least once a year.
