Offices
Northwind has three offices. Headquarters is in Austin, Texas. Our other offices are in London and Pune. Most people split their week between the office and home under POL-HR-004 (see Leave and remote work).

Working hours and core hours
Remote work is allowed up to 3 days a week. Core hours are 10:00 to 15:00 in your local time. Outside core hours you may flex your day, but meetings that include several offices should be scheduled in the overlap windows below.

Visiting an office
- Book a desk through the facilities channel at least one working day ahead.
- Collect a visitor or guest badge from reception. Staff badges work across all three offices.
- Use the guest wifi for personal devices. Company laptops use the corporate network, or the VPN when you are away from an office.
Facilities contacts
Facilities requests (desks, parking, meeting rooms, deliveries) go through the #facilities channel. Network and wifi issues go to IT: see Report an incident and Who to ask. The network is managed by Liam O'Connor.
Local holidays
Each office observes its own public holidays. See Company holidays 2026.
Customer sites
Some delivery staff work at customer premises. Treat customer sites as an extension of Northwind: follow the customer's security rules in addition to ours, and check the customer page, for example Orion Energy, for any location constraints such as data residency.
